Bullet Journals are so incredibly popular these days. With the hastening of 2019 let’s take a moment to break down some techniques for some things you can incorporate into your 2019 Bullet Journal! Today we’re making a comprehensive guide on how to draw Banners!
Banner headers are so cute for your Bujo spread. They add some character to a page. They look tricky until you realize exactly how easy they are! As for pens I’m currently drawing with Pigma Micron size 08 and 005 on sheets from my Fabriano Notebook.
The Classic BuJo Banner
This is the classic Bullet Journaling Banner. First I draw the curved portion, keeping in mind the length and height I am making the curve. Next, I box out the banner before drawing the back ribbon-
Variations in the Classic Banner
From here you can get a little playful with your banners. Inverting them
Making the bend on different sides of the banner.
Making a variation with the ribbon end
The Downward Spiral. This would be great to display the date!
The Scroll BuJo Banner
This scroll bullet journal banner is a nice change of pace from the traditional banner and honestly a little bit easier to create. This banner is a short spiral before lengthening into the banner portion. Add in the vertical details and shading to finish out this banner.
Variations for the Scroll Banner
There’s the rolled ribbon
The Flourished Parchment
Bonus Bullet Journal Doodles!
As a bonus there are some doodles that can be used with this technique.
With this it’s easy to create a waving flag
Or a bit of Fluttering ribbon.
